Newcomers

Here is a recent photo of Callie, she is doing well......not so much with her lessons but she tries. She is far too cute and mostly sweet and I find it really hard to disipline her.....but I try. I think she will grow to be just as nice and well behaved as Sage is....but look at her.... I do try really.

This is the new little girl kitten and her brother below. After that rotten Coyote took my George cat Mikey was pretty lonely so I went and got him some kittens. I thought he would be more agreeable to kittens rather than a cat.....he isn't but he his coming around some and he's not acting so much out of sorts....he really missed his brother for awhile, he walked around crying and looking for him ....poor thing. Anyhow the newcomers are fitting in nicely, they really like it here and are already running around like they own the place..... yup they definitly fit right in.

Riding Trip

This post is for the fellow bloggers that would like to come riding in the Rockies. These are a few shots of the area we would be camping / riding in. Trust me these pics do not do the area justice .....not even a little bit. This place is called the Galbraith and it really is something, there is a vast riding area that will accomadate all levels of riders and to which degree of challenge one is up for. The camping area is nice with a decent outside toilet and the river runs right alongside the camping area. This is the communal corral it is well made ....good and strong. After riding all day in the mountains most horses do not even test it to see how strong it may be.

I just had to put this one in. This is Sage checking out gophers. We were up at the Guiders camp having a rest and she was keeping herself busy(as usual)This pic is from last year and I didn't get to go with the group this year so I am ready and chomping at the bit to go again. This is truly a beautiful place to go and ride....so if you can.... do not pass up on this chance to catch a little piece of heaven.
