Sunday Stills Challenge "Canine Companions"

This was actually a tough challenge for me, the subject was easy...really easy....my problem ...how to pick only a few pictures. Well as you will soon find out I didn't, I picked a whole bunch. As you can see I don't get tired of my Canine friends and so you will have to suffer along on this one....go get another cup of whatever. The first set is Sage the second Kali and a few mixed ones. The photos themselves don't really need any dialogue so I will remain silent until the end...now there's a first.... not really I do have some of those moments, back to the task.

One Thing Leads To Another

This is Dave hard at it. Every time he's home he is out cutting wood, this is how we heat the Greenhouses. I'm sure he is getting sick of it, at any rate he gets the job done. He came home one day with this log splitter....greatest thing since sliced cheese. It makes his job much easier and it is way easier for me to handle those logs once they are split.....the joys of ageing painfully.
Anyhow if you follow the pics you will see why the title.

What a wonderful machine it doesn't take him long to get a good pile going.

All of this makes the next step possible.This pic is my first plants of the season made from seed...seed from last years Millet.

These are a few of the plugs I ordered. ...more on the way.

All these little guys...(well not all, some will be potted up for retail sales)and the rest will grow on to this stage.......and bigger. Yay Dave thanks for keeping up with the wood.

Sunday Stills challenge "Favorite Place"

This week the challenge is Favorite Place....."Wherever you feel at peace or just like to relax"..... for me it's a no brainer, sorry the pictures don't really catch that sentiment. I spent two hours looking for just the right ones and gave in and went with ones that come close. My favorite place is home. Our home is the center of everything I do and love, so here are a few shots of what I see around the place daily.
I was hoping to find a nice summer shot of the house ....but hey none of my pics are titled House shots..........no that would be way to easy.
This is a place I love spending a lot of time in, it is very relaxing and peaceful.

The barn where I spend a lot of time doing chores....grooming and just pett'n up on the horses.

A group meeting which you see alot of around here. One thing I really like about this place is I can see the horses from every room in the house, each group in their seperate pastures.

I just had to throw this one in there........just cause he is tooooo cute. He is tied to the tack shed which is really handy and close to the barn.

So there you have it.Home my "favorite place" You all remember the expression " There is no place like home" I would be quite happy if I never had to leave home. I am surrounded by everything I need right here.....it really is too bad that one has to venture out from time to time. Well I'm done. I will check you all out later. Have a great week.
