Sunday Challenge " Birdstalking"

I was thinking this challenge was going to be a cake walk.....not...as it turns out at least in my case it requires ...first birds and then a certain amount of skill and decent equipment.....well three strikes and yup I'm out. I was so excited last Sunday I had my first Robin sighting and then to see this weeks challenge. I could just burst with joy ...Spring is coming the birds are singing all around me...could it get any better, well of course it could. I can hear Robins and see them flying away but do you think I can get a picture....not a chance this was the best I could do...they are mocking me it is quite frustrating. I have been chasing this one around for quite awhile and finally had to call it a day.I did a lot of stalking....I think I'm not very good at it. I will keep trying and hopefully get something better..and will do another post at another time.I'm kinda stalked out.

This is a Bald Eagle but as you can see he got pretty far away before I could get a shot.

So after giving up on the garbage pics.....I went where I knew I could at least get a real picture of a bird....where did I go ...to the resident Pigeon of course...and no stalking involved.

Well that's it for me sorry for the weak effort...I take that back I put a lot of effort into it but with poor results...believe me it wasn't for lack of trying.I will check you all out later.
Have A Great Week

I love the first pigeon photo- it made me smile- hello birdie! I was hoping you'd get some of him. The flying one is pretty cool too.

We have a pigeon population here too! They are beautiful, but very messy when they get into a barn.

I'm back. Just checked your recent posts! Boy, have you had some weather. Hopefully all that is coming to an end so you can do all those gardening things.

Lori you are right, I'm glad we only have one because it makes a huge mess.

We have a resident population of messy pigeons too. It would have been hard for me this week too....crows and sparrows and a long ways off.
