Well it is with a bit of a sad heart that I say good- bye to Lily. At one time I decided Lily would stay with me but for whatever reason I'm just not that attached to her. Lily has found a wonderful home where she will be well cared for loved and eventually have a job. The lady S is a horse person and would like to train Lily to do a multitude of things some of which will be of the English
persuasion. I think Lily will be great at whatever they do with her.
It was a muddy and wet Sunday morning so I had Lily in the barn to eat and dry out, she needed grooming before she could be loaded.
Her best friend had to come and see what was happening he was very concerned about her being in the barn, at every opportunity you
could see his head poking in to observe.
Lily is quite popular with all the other horses and so has a lot of friends, most of which came to wish her farewell.
Lily loaded well and travelled pretty good too. I didn't get any pics of all this part because I didn't want to push my luck. the other horse people out there know what I'm talking about....when dealing with horses ......well heck any time you have a plan and you are on a schedule you know how fast things can unravel.....so it was in the trailer out of the trailer.
That's my girl she looked around for oh about 2 seconds saw the food and was immersed. She won her new owners over quickly with her calm sweet disposition. After a bit she wandered around looking at stuff and the other horses.
