Sunday Challenge " The First Signs Of Fall"

Suprisingly this one was not an easy challenge for me.In some cases the first signs of fall are obvious...well maybe not to you looking at my pics. Around here getting some color back into my Sunrises is a first sign of  Fall.

Another first sign of fall is these little guys scurrying all about and collecting food for the coming winter. This one was so angry at me for interrupting his collection, he came down the tree to the pile picked one up and then quickly made his way back up the tree, he was so disturbed that he had to turn around and let me know just how put out he was....got a chuckle out me .....cheeky little thing.

What should be a first sign of fall is the Poplar trees turning ....but for some reason they are slow to do so. So far this is all they are doing. I am surrounded by these trees and they should be all yellow about now, especially because of the silly weather.I guess like everything else nothing really knows what it's supposed to do, we are having such extreme weather temps?????

These Maples started turning quite awhile ago....again stressed out with the weather...don't know what the heck they are supposed to do.

Well that's it for me,sorry for the not so great photos.....this camera is pretty close to quitting on me. Well I'm off to go riding, it is a nice cool day with no sun....perfect!!! I am taking advantage this while it lasts. Check ya all out later.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK

Cute squirrel. We don't have many around here as Maggie Mae the hunter catches them! Although we have lots of acorns for them. I have been hearing them drop not for several days. :)

I was thinking of autumn skies when I first thought of the challenge. It's one of the first indicators of the change in seasons here too. You've got lots of color esle where too;)

What a cute squirrel, we dont have any around here. I like the red in the last photo, so dark colored.

Our poplars are slow to change this year too. Such strange weather.
