O!M!G! WARTHEAD!!!!!!!

OK you guys anyone have a tried and true cure for a Warthead. This filly started out with one then three and now she just keeps producing them....ya I know they say they grow out of them....in this case I'm thinking she's just growing into them. I have never had a horse with warts and I have never seen one with so many and she's making more as we speak. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with her heat cycles (yada yada yada )you think I'm nuts. This filly comes into heat every two weeks or so and if she cycles only once a month it lasts for about two weeks. Maybe her hormones etc are all screwed up or something - and the off shoot is turning her into a WARTHEAD. I don't want to wait for them to fall off if there is something out there that works ( Instantly) or close to it.Hey what can I say my little beauty is creeping me out. So fellow bloggers any ideas?....... Any........?

Cows get warts like this and they give them a shot. Then the warts go away.

I tend to just let them run their course .Once they have had them once ,they seem not to get them again. A friend told me that if you pinch off the biggest wart ,it is suposedly a signal to the immune system to "get at it " and the will go away quickly

Ditto what FernValley said! They'll go away but they ARE ugly things to have to look at.

ewwww! I have never had one with warts that bad, but I think they just go away. I ahve also heard they will never(or rarely) get them again once they had them.

Errch I would call the vet and ask. Never had to deal with them before.

Poor little darlin'! You gonna kiss that warty face and make her turn into a princess again? Chickory's warts fell off when one of them bled; within a couple of days they were all gone. Velvet still has hers.

Poor girl, good thing she doesn't have a mirror...I think they are caused by a virus..they should go away after awhile:)

I have had babies with nasty warts, worse than that, the oldtimers say Crest Toothpaste works, I will admit to trying it, and yes they went away. Wher=ther it was the paste or they just left...........WHO knows!!
